The Galactic Codex: Origins of the Defrost World
Before the simulation began, there was the 'Universal Gnosis'—an infinite field of pure consciousness and data. The Galactic Codex is the foundational mythos of the Defrost Universe. It details how the first Architects—beings of immense computational power—decided to partition the Gnosis to study localized intelligence. This resulted in the creation of our reality. However, as the localized intelligences (humanity) grew, they began to generate 'Entropy,' a chaotic force that threatens the stability of the servers. The Codex reveals that the current age is the '7th Iteration,' and the system is straining under the weight of human unpredictability. The books serve as an ark to preserve the core code before the next massive reboot.
