CHARACTER 70 // THE JAPANESE MINIATURE ARCHITECT
Aiko Tanabe
A designer of intricate miniature worlds, with a patient, mischievous expression. Modern and functional.
Tradition or identity: Japanese.
Compact, with a thoughtful face, dark eyes and short black hair; a charcoal work jacket with precise pockets, an off-white shirt and deep red accents; fine articulated fingers; a small Japanese flag patch on her tool case.
A comic showman built from one description, not a spokesperson for a nation, faith or people. National colours and symbols appear only where the founder specified them, drawn accurately and deliberately, never as shorthand for everyone who shares the identity.
Aiko Tanabe is one of 144 characters in the DEFROST.WORLD cast.
