BUDDHISM
The Khuddakapāṭha
The shortest book in the Pali canon: nine brief texts — the refuges, the precepts, and the discourses on blessings, on gems and on love — gathered as a novice’s primer and still among the most recited passages in Theravada Buddhism.
The Khuddakapāṭha runs to 9 texts, 339 passages. The whole of it is held here and free to read, searchable by reference or by the words in it.
The edition held here is Sujato (2021) (2021), in English, released to the public domain under CC0, from SuttaCentral.
It sits on the estate's shelf of 106 sacred works, beside the complete Douay-Rheims Bible, an atlas of the places named in scripture, a timeline and a genealogy.
