Midrash Rabbah
Homiletic commentary on the Torah and the five scrolls, gathered over several centuries.
Midrash Rabbah runs to 10 books, 2,978 sections. The whole of it is held here and free to read, searchable by reference or by the words in it.
The edition held here is מדרש רבה (original Hebrew/Aramaic), in Hebrew, in the public domain, from Hebrew Wikisource.
It sits on the estate's shelf of 106 sacred works, beside the complete Douay-Rheims Bible, an atlas of the places named in scripture, a timeline and a genealogy.
